Questions Families Ask
Know what to expect before you choose.
The goal is to make the decision about tutoring frequency clear—not overwhelming.
How do I know which tutoring plan my student needs?
Start with the amount of support your student needs to make progress. Stay on Track provides weekly consistency; Build Momentum provides twice-weekly skill-building and added practice; Accelerate provides high-frequency support for significant or time-sensitive goals. If you are unsure, book the free 15-minute strategy call.
Why is Build Momentum recommended for most students?
Twice-weekly tutoring offers a practical middle ground: more instructional contact and practice opportunities than once-weekly tutoring, without immediately moving to the highest-frequency plan. The best choice still depends on the individual student.
Do the tutoring packages require an agreement?
Yes. Stay on Track, Build Momentum, and Accelerate are Academic Year Packages. Ad Hoc tutoring is a separate session-by-session option and is not an Academic Year Package.
Is there a session-by-session tutoring option?
Yes. Ad Hoc tutoring is $111 per 50–60-minute session. Sessions are scheduled as needed, based on tutor availability, and Ad Hoc tutoring is not an Academic Year Package.
Is my student’s tutoring time reserved?
Yes. Each plan includes a reserved recurring appointment, subject to tutor and schedule availability during enrollment.
What subjects does Burch Tutoring support?
Support areas include Mathematics, Science, Test Prep, study skills, executive functioning support, and other academic needs. Availability varies by subject, tutor, and schedule.
